We’ve all seen performers whose routines are totally polished – it’s as if this is the 5,083rd time they’ve performed the show. While this is good and polish is ultimately what I aspire to do to my routines, there is a need to make a magic routine ”human” or “organic.” There needs to be some improvisation to make it appear that the magic is happening for the very first time. This way of presenting your routines creates excitement and stimulates yourself as a performer, rather than “going through the motions.”
Some food for thought, Sammy.
