In the internet age, it seems like there is no sense of privacy in the world. You can know way more than you bargained for in meeting someone within 10 minutes. Logon to their Facebook and you’ll see all kinds of pictures you wouldn’t believe someone would post. Culture is so opened up today, it seems like privacy goes out the window.
Ultimately, it seems like a bandwagon someone jumps on. Some people in the limelight prefer to stay out of it whenever possible. Forty years ago, it was a big deal to see a celebrity in person. But as the information age exploded and entertainment became a facet in everyday life we find out everything we’d ever want to know (and more) about someone (or a celebrity). Gone is any sense of mystery about someone that draws us in.
